Grammar Girl's Quick and Dirty Tips for Better Writing
Just Google it
Sarah Kessler writes The Google Gap, which is about a study finding that college students use Google search to find everything, but that they're surprisingly poor about searching efficiently. Worse yet, they expect every search engine to work like Google, and thus do even worse when faced with more sophisticated databases.
As search continues to become the primary way that customers utilize your documentation, assumptions about how easily or quickly they'll be able to locate what they're looking for should be challenged.
