Grammar Girl's Quick and Dirty Tips for Better Writing
Windows screen capture tools, reviewed
For WritersUA, Matthew Ellison reviews screen capture tools for Windows. Some of the tools are clearly technical writer friendly and include features, such as the automatic application of edge treatments, that save a lot of time. Although the focus of the review is on creating screen captures that will be used in manuals, it's also worth noting that a good tool can be helpful in the development of documentation, for the writer's own reference purposes only.
