Approaching tedium

Although John W Lewis' article Novel Approaches to Sequences of Learning is written from the perspective of training courses, it raises several interesting questions for documentation, too. He addresses the design of sequences, repetitive steps (which are often avoided in documentation), and a broader view and definition of processes.
