Adobe is committed to Framemaker
Guy recently pointed out that Vivek Jain, a product manager for Framemaker, has started a blog about Adobe's technical documentation tools. As nearly anyone could have predicted, the first message was met with many comments about Adobe dropping support for Framemaker for Macintosh. Nearly three years later, hope springs eternal that Adobe will revisit that decision, but in response, Jain simply asks Mac users to use the Windows version of the product instead. Aside from that, so far most posts discuss the capabilities of the various products, so hope springs eternal, too, for less sales-orientated content that will contribute to the technical documentation community.
