Gender differences in documentation use
Bob Weber, writing for the Chicago Tribune, laments the passing of the simple dashboard analog clock in automobiles. Modern clocks are so complicated that most people have to refer to the owner's manual in order to switch between standard and daylight savings time. In a survey done of luxury car owners, 54% of males and 61% of females said they referred to the manual to set their clock. Not very surprising when you read of the different methods that models use in Weber's article. I wonder how many people called their dealer or the customer service line instead?
