Dial M for Mouse
A fascinating (if somewhat lethargic) 1927 silent film "How to Use The Dial Phone" at the Internet Archive provides a good minimalistic example for technical writers of all kinds. It's task-based, offers appropriately-placed and helpful asides (such as defining the purpose of the dial tone) and includes troubleshooting information. It's also very quaint, of course, and one wonders if people in 2058 won't find Apple's "Mouse Basics" equally so. (That's not to say that some don't, already.)
