A documentation user's guide

The New York Times writes about a third-party supplemental manual for programming the Philips Pronto Pro remote control. The 140-page PDF manual, The Ultimate Pronto Guide, saves Pronto users hours of time in setting up the complex, yet popular, product by adding new information to the Pronto's obfuscated documentation suite. William Grimes writes: "Yes, it is absurd to buy a guide to be able to understand another guide. But it is also necessary."
