Comic Art and Instruction
Few people like to read manuals (outside of those employed in the industry of course) but nearly everyone likes to read comics. If manuals were done in cartoon art, would they be more appealing? The work being done by HowToons suggests that it's true! Aimed at young people, each single-page comic teaches how to build or do something. Create a hovercraft, learn to count in binary on your fingers, or launch a marshmallow rocket. Can comics on burning a DVD or building a web page be far behind?
