A rare example of humor in technical writing from Derek Pell, a former National Lampoon writer, is The Little Red Book of Adobe LiveMotion. Sadly, it's now obsolete, but worth perusing for its witty combination of Maoist dogma with technical instruction, such as "Long March Shortcuts" and "Aligning Anarchist Objects in the Mass Struggle."
