Replacing a missing manual
The Wall Street Journal (August 12, 2003, D1) summarizes several websites that specialize in providing replacement product manuals for consumers. Many manufacturers provide PDF-format manuals online, but locating the files can be a challenge at nearly any large site. LiveManuals to the rescue -- by providing direct links to over 500 user guides and their own "visual guides" to common tasks, which provides additional instruction above-and-beyond that of the original publications.
