Grammar Girl's Quick and Dirty Tips for Better Writing
A look at Java Help 2.0
WinWriter's in-depth look at the latest beta of JavaHelp, by Sarah Leritz-Higgins, gives help authors a lot to chew on. As noted, this cross-platform help system has been a long time coming. The new "server-based help" feature is tantalizing, but otherwise I'm disappointed at what seems to be mostly an attempt to re-implement WinHelp. Clearly there is more than one way to present Help content, but few seem to be trying other approaches.
