DHTML in Office XP Help
At the WinWriters site, Matthew Ellison provides a cogent overview of at the onscreen Help in Office XP. Among the many useful observations and details, the information about how DHTML is used to provide inline expansion of topics (including definitions) is the most interesting. While I'm not overly fond of definitions in general (I feel they often obfuscate and complicate the task) I think presenting them inline is a nice approach that is worth further exploration.
